Partnered For Growth
A private telecommunications company sought to go public with
a patented technology. They required proven talent in the telecommunications
industry across all functions to assist with this endeavor.
Additionally, the current CEO and Chairman mandated the position
be filled with local candidates due to budgetary and time restraints.
SESG partnered with executive management including the founders
in an exclusive agreement for all hires, dedicating SESG resources
to the client's urgent and challenging needs. They requested
a seasoned telecommunication's Chief Financial Officer with
IPO, road show, fund raising, and high-growth experience. SESG
found the ideal candidate and the CFO was on board within a
week. The company also needed an Executive Vice President of
Human Resources to drive the growth as well as manage the human
resource issues associated with this explosive growth. The new
EVP of HR was aboard within three weeks form the beginning of
the search. SESG also located new board members to establish
a more independent board essential in a successful IPO. The
company's IPO was successful.
SESG continued the partnership with the company and placed over
30 more employees in strategic positions including the CTO,
COO, subsidiary CEO, Business Unit Controllers, Corporate VP
Finance and sales people. We enabled them to grow according
to plan from a privately held "mom-and-pop" technology shop
into a publicly held company on NASDAQ, with close to a $1 Billion
market cap.
